Facility Airflow & Thermal Engineering Workshop
Practical training in designing positive/negative pressure ventilation, hot aisle isolation, and acoustic attenuation for high-heat environments.
Program Overview & Learning Objectives
Every watt of electrical energy consumed by mining hardware converts directly into thermal heat. Without proper fluid dynamics and static pressure management, recirculating hot exhaust air destroys chip efficiency and accelerates solder fatigue. This workshop teaches practical enclosure design, intake louvers, evaporative cooling integration, and acoustic baffle construction.
What is Included & Core Deliverables
- Static pressure and CFM flow calculation worksheets
- Air filtration MERV rating selection guide for Australian agricultural dust and pollen
- Hot/cold aisle containment framing blueprints
- Acoustic baffle and sound-dampening wall construction guide
- Anemometer and differential pressure meter hands-on measurement practice
Prerequisites & Safety Requirements
Basic arithmetic and geometry for volume calculations.
